the cheer amidst the chaos

Oscar Wilde once said, " To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people simply exist."

Today, i found myself asking the question, what happens now? what will change? and what will stay the same? we're all afraid of the next chapter. we all know scary things can happen. how will we face them? how will we find a way forward?

together, I hope.

we all have that stage in which we feel stuck, lost, and even helpless. afraid, maybe. but the important thing is to keep moving forward, and keep writing the story. its funny how we always say " routine is boring" or " oh, just give me a break". but the lockdown during the pandemic has changed that. the only thing we knew about life, its certainty, the promise of a tomorrow, itself, is uncertain. these feelings may lead to the development of negative emotions among us, most important of them, being fear. I think, that particular fear has two meanings. "forget everything and run" or " face everything and rise". the choice is ours. and i think, that the only thing stronger than fear, is hope. hope for a better tomorrow. hope for good health. hope for the well being of our loved ones. hope for survival. i think, it is extremely important to keep the hope within us alive in these difficult times. there might be instances when you feel like giving up, giving in, but don't. move on. stay strong and live.

for someone has rightly said, " life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. it's about learning how to dance in the rain"

  2. "The only thing stronger than fear is hope..." Very well said. An optimistic but practical view when it is so easy to take a bleak one. Loved this piece and look forward to more!
